Elite Selected For “We CARE” Award

Elite Homes was recently presented with the Republic Bank and Trust Company’s 1st Annual We CARE award for small businesses. The award was created to recognize and publicly congratulate companies who stress the four elements contained in the CARE name itself—Community, Activity, Recognition, Enterprise. Companies were judged on how they encourage employees to become involved in volunteer activities either during or after work hours such as tutoring, mentoring, or coaching youth sports activities. Companies are also evaluated on how they support community-based initiatives through fundraising activities. WAVE-TV is a partner in the We CARE award and did a feature on Elite Homes as part of the award recognition. The other winners of the We CARE award in the medium and large business categories were Bedrock Inc./USA Carea, United Foodservice Purchasing Co-op, and United Parcel Service.

Elite Among Business First’s Fast 50 Again	Company Growth Leads to Builder Magazine Top 100
For the third year in a row, Elite Homes was honored by Business First as one of the fifty fastest growing companies in Louisville. This growth continues due to the customers that put their trust in us each year to build their dream home. This growth is also made possible because of the excellent work done by the dedicated Elite Homes’ staff, and our highly trusted and reliable team of suppliers and subcontractors. Many thanks to our customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and staff!	After nearly 30 years in business, Elite Homes made it’s debut at #54 on Builder Magazine’s 2005 Top 100 Fast Track builders in the nation. This list honors builders nationwide that are showing the most growth based on revenues from 2002 to 2004. Elite’s production started gaining strength in 2003 when home closings jumped from 41 homes to 65 homes. That timing coincided with our work in opening several new subdivisions in the recent years.
Joe is Honored as Finalist in Business of the Year Awards
A new recognition was established this year by Business First Magazine. The Business of the Year Awards, which will be an annual event, was initiated to recognize outstanding achievement. More than 200 companies were nominated, and Joe is proud to have been named one of the 3 finalists for Small Company Business Leader of the Year. Joe was recognized for his various accomplishments at an awards ceremony on December 1st at the Kentucky International Convention Center, and also in a special awards publication by Business First.
