In 1981 Phil Deddens was working as in installer of central vacuum systems, security systems & radio intercoms, when he started Super Home Systems. Mortgage rates were 18% & Homearama Homes were around $65,000. At that time radio-intercom systems that were being installed in the wall with tape players were transitioning from 8 track to cassette.
Things have changed quite a bit with home electronics. Telephone communication has evolved from a single wall set in the kitchen or center hallway to complete home communication systems with wireless & internet connectivity. Radio intercom systems have been eclipsed by built in stereo and surround sound with Ipod & internet connections for down loading music. Televisions are flat and high definition. They are also being connected to the internet, Security & fire alarm systems have become simpler to use and often include video camera which may be viewed securely over the internet, sometimes on your cell phone.

Nothing has changed home and business systems like the internet. Home networking has become a vital service as computers have become so prevalent and more of the audio and video devices in our homes are enhanced by internet connectivity.
Many of the systems installed today, such as the Vacuflo Central Cleaning Systems & structured wiring system contribute to the Green Building Certifications that add value to new homes.

Phil and his team enjoy staying on top of all of the advancements and changes in technology by regularly attending classes and trade shows. Super Home Systems is made up of experienced, well trained veterans of the industry. They have been with the company an average of over twelve years and collectively represent over 150 years of experience.

Super Home Systems has enjoyed serving Elite Homes and their homeowners for many years. They also enjoyed the opportunity to work on the Extreme Makeover project, a fulfilling experience which provided memories that will last a lifetime.
