 At the 57th Home Builders Association of Louisville meeting on Friday, December 5th, 2003, Joe Pusateri was named 2003 Builder of the Year along with co-recipient Glen Stuckel. Joe was nominated for his many contributions to the home building industry as well as his major contributions to the Louisville community.
Having always been a strong contributor to the community in many ways over the years, Joe stepped it up a notch in 2003 when he personally took it upon himself to save the financially troubled Louisville Orchestra from bankruptcy. He personally went on a fund-raising campaign, and working with the HBAL raised $465,000 in a matter of months. Joe also spent countless hours helping to facilitate an agreement between the Orchestra board and the musicians. In October, Joe received the Leadership Louisville Spirit of Yes! Award for his successful efforts in helping to save the Orchestra.
Joe has also given much of his time to the HBAL, serving on numerous committees and serving as President in 1990 and 1992. He holds the record for Homearama participation with 26 houses and 23 grand awards. Joe continues to serve in the community. Presently he is on the board of directors at the Salvation Army, Greater Louisville, Inc., and the Evergreen Foundation. He is also the Vice President of Development for the Louisville Orchestra, and serves on the YPAL (Young Professional Association of Louisville) Advisory Council. Congratulations Joe!
 On December 1st, 2003 , Elite Homes begun operating out of their new office located at 16218 Shelbyville Road in Eastwood. The office is open from 8am to 5pm Monday-Friday and 9am - Noon on Saturday. We can be reached at our same telephone number, 245-6159. Elite occupies the 2nd floor of the building.
