Home of Hope II Concludes with Celebration

On September 24th, a party was held at the Landis Lakes clubhouse to celebrate the generosity of all the suppliers and subcontractors whose donations made this years Home of Hope a major success. During the party, a check for $143,174 was presented to Jerry McCandless of the Evergreen Foundation, a charitable organization that builds and supports orphanages for homeless children in Romania. With this check, Elite Homes along with its team of suppliers and subcontractors have now donated over $750,000 to worthy charities over the past 13 years. We would like to give a special thanks to Chris Grosskopf, our superintendent for the Home of Home both this year and last year. We would also like to thank all our supplier and sub-contractors who were once again very generous with their discounts and donations to make this project possible.

New Elite Community “Waterstone” Nearing Completion

Elite Homes’ next community on the horizon is the impressive “Waterstone” on Shelbyville Road. Waterstone, which is across from Valhalla Golf Club and adjacent to William F. Miles Park, has 45 choice lots and boasts a 3-acre lake. The roads have been paved and anyone is welcome to drive through the development and check out the beautiful scenery. After you pass the stone-faced grand entrance wall, which is to be erected in the near future, you will be greeted to a view down the hill to the sparkling waters of the lake in the middle of the neighborhood. Circling the lake will be a walking trail for all residents to enjoy.
Another unique feature in Waterstone is a direct access pathway to the rolling hills of Miles Park. In the park, you can enjoy 130 acres of open fields and 4 scenic fishing lakes. The master plan for Miles Park includes picnic shelters, a floating boardwalk, walking trails, and a canoe launch on Floyd’s Fork. We will soon be completing pricing for our Patriotic Series homes on the 45 lots in Waterstone. Currently over half of the lots have been reserved, but there are still many great lots available. Almost every lot in the subdivision backs up to either open treed space, creeks, Miles park, or the lake.
